Incognito Part 2 Sale, in aid of Jack & Jill, sells out in 28 minutes this morning

Thank You statement from the Incognito Team at the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation:

We are delighted to announce that Part Two of our Incognito Art Sale, in aid of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, sold out in 28 minutes this morning.  This online collection of 977 original pieces of art, all donated to the charity, sold out rapidly at €50 per art work, as thousands of visitors raced to the checkout at our Incognito Store.  Over €140,000 has been raised for the charity between the sale today and the previous sale on 24th April.

As usual, the Incognito catch is that the identity of the artist will not be revealed until the successful purchasers receive their art in the post, with the artist’s signature on the back of the artwork.

We want to salute all the artists and the purchasers involved and we know that many shoppers left our Incognito Store empty handed.  We thank everyone for their patience and kindness to Jack & Jill and for all those additional donations we received today.  We also want to thank our longstanding supporters William Fry.

Big names this year included Bono, Bruce and Patti Springsteen, Vincent Devine, Una Sealey, The Project Twins, Martin Mooney, Mick O’Dea, Sylvia Parkinson Brown, Victor Richardson, Martin Gale, Guggi, Bridget Flinn and Adrian+Shane to name but a few.  However, big name or not, every artist involved has made the same donation of time and energy to Jack & Jill, turning their artistic talent into a real currency for home nursing care.  To us they are all big names and they will all be up in lights for our big reveal in June.  Meanwhile, we have to get all this lovely artwork out in the post, so thank you for your patience.

The Incognito Art Sale was forced to move from gallery to two online sales this year due to Covid-19.  Over €140,000 has been raised for the charity between the sale today and the previous sale on 24th April, along with donations made by visiting shoppers.  Each piece of art sold funds three hours of home nursing through Jack & Jill’s unique model of home nursing which includes end of life care.
